Practical drafting

Enough detail to explain the work.

A drawing with a defined purpose

A technical layout might explain equipment spacing, a route through a room, or the relationship between existing and proposed work. Start with the decision the drawing needs to support.

Draw V1 stores geometry in architectural inches. Edit line and polyline segment lengths, move or resize an object, and organize the result on layers. Zoom and pan change the view, not the drawing’s stored dimensions.

A readable handoff

A useful installation drawing should distinguish measured dimensions from assumptions and identify the scope being shown. Consistent labels help connect the layout to project notes.

The goal is a focused contractor drawing workflow. Parametric modeling, BIM coordination, engineering analysis, and native CAD interchange are not being offered in this preview.
