Relden Takeoff
A quantity should come with a way to check it.

Smart symbol matching is implemented in Relden. Public rollout has not been announced.
Know what you are quantifying
Counts and lengths answer different questions.

From marks to review
Make the row useful to the next person.
Name the scope
Identify the item, location, and distinction that matters. “Level 1 — type A fixtures” gives the reviewer a concrete starting point.
Save the evidence
Mark the points or trace the route on its source page. Assign a layer that makes the scope easier to inspect.
Reopen the quantity
Selecting a row moves to its page and focuses its geometry. Check the actual marks when a number needs explanation.
Correct the source work
Adjust a manual point, edit route vertices, or change a detection’s review state. Review the updated quantity in the same linked row.
Before pricing
Separate the measured work from the allowances.
A measured run records the path you traced. It does not automatically include waste, offcuts, vertical connections, fittings, or installation labor. Likewise, a count of equipment symbols does not define the full assembly required to install each one.
Use the saved quantities to check the drawn scope, then make your estimating decisions from that reviewed base. If a plan issue changes, revisit the affected work; Relden does not automatically reconcile drawing revisions.
Named rows are also useful during an internal review. Returning to the geometry makes it possible to discuss what was counted or measured without relying on a number alone.

What makes a smart count change?
Only accepted detections contribute to the linked smart count. Changing a candidate from accepted to pending or rejected removes it from that count. Review the drawing before accepting; similarity scores do not establish scope or completeness.
Does editing a route create another quantity row?
No. Editing saved route geometry updates its linked Takeoff row. You can revisit the same item to review the revised path and length.
What happens when I recalibrate a page?
Relden recalculates the linear quantities on that page using the new calibration. Manual counts remain based on the saved points, not page scale.
Can I export a priced estimate from these quantities?
A priced-estimate or takeoff-export workflow is not part of the current toolset. Relden provides the saved counts, measured routes, and plan review that precede estimating.
