A booking should mean there is a place on the schedule.

Appointment scheduling is a planned Relden Voice capability. The intended workflow would use actual availability and contractor rules before confirming a visit. Booking is not available today.

Proposed scheduling flow

From a preferred time to a confirmed visit.

  1. Establish the visit type

Repair, maintenance, and an estimate may require different durations and availability. A future workflow would first need to identify the requested service.

  2. Check the service location

The address and service area matter before offering a visit. Customer and location recognition are planned integrations.

  3. Check actual availability

The intended system would need to read the correct schedule and apply the business’s rules. Calendar integrations have not been announced.

  4. Confirm only a successful booking

A requested time should remain a request until the booking succeeds. SMS confirmations and records in Relden history are also planned.

Questions,
answered.

Which calendars will Voice support?

Calendar integrations have not been announced. Supported systems and booking behavior will be documented after implementation and validation.

Can the receptionist guarantee an arrival time?

No such capability is available. The planned workflow must distinguish customer preferences, appointment windows, and the contractor’s actual commitments.
